In response to lockdown in most countries amid the COVID-19 outbreak, many leading MBA colleges are waiving requirements for the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and the Graduate Records Examination (GRE) for applicants for summer and fall 2020 intake. Most schools in USA have offered test waivers. A list of some of the leading schools in UK and EU that have also waived GRE/GMAT requirements:
London Business School
Admissions deadlines remain the same. LBS accepting applications without GMAT/GRE for candidates who have not yet taken a test; you will need to take a test later.
Oxford University
For the fourth deadline, applicants can apply without GMAT/GRE/English Language test results, provided all other components of your application are complete at the time of submission. Formal offer of admission will be contingent on the missing test scores being submitted by a future date.
Imperial College Business School
No GMAT/GRE test scores require to apply for the Full-Time MBA and MSc International Management programs. Conditional offers to the program will be given where necessary. Imperial is also accepting test scores from the GRE -At home test.
Alliance Manchester Business School
For the Global MBA, applications are continuing virtually. July intake offer holders can defer their studies to January 2021 at no additional cost.
Durham University Business School
Pre-sessional English Language courses will be delivered online this year – CAS and Tier 4 student visas are not required to attend these courses this year. Durham is now considering non-UKVI IELTS and TOEFL
HEC Paris MBA
Allowing applications to be submitted without official GMAT/GRE test scores, but have to be submitted at a later date. Discontinued campus visits and in-person information sessions worldwide.
IMD MBA
Next application deadline is May 1. Applications may be submitted without GRE/GMAT scores and conditional offers will be made until test centers reopen.
INSEAD
Allowing applicants to submit applications without GMAT, GRE, EA or TOEFL score.
Application deadlines for the January 2021 MBA intake have been extended to allow applicants more time to prepare.
ESMT Berlin
Early Bird Deadlines have been extended for all graduate programs. Applicants can submit materials without standardized test scores. Candidates can apply with the GMAC Essential Skills test, as a replacement for the GMAT or GRE.
IESE
Will accept applications without standardized test scores. Will also accept applications on a rolling basis after the final May 5 deadline.
