Entry Requirements to Study at Edge Hill University UK

General entry requirements (exact requirements may vary from course to course)

Postgraduate Courses: At least 50% or above in Bachelors Degree from a recognized university(on a scale of 10). IELTS: 6.5 with no less than 6 in each band(or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

Undergraduate Courses (after 12th): Completion of All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) or Indian School Certificate (CISCE) or Higher Secondary Certificate (State Board) from a recognized university. IELTS: 6 with no less than 5.5 in each band (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

MBA/Executive MBA program: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution with 2 years of relevant experience after graduation (which does not include summer placements, part-time or temporary work experience). IELTS: 6.5 with no less than 6 in each band (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

Scholarships for Indian/International students:

Undergraduate Development Scholarship

This scholarship is for students starting an Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) degree and is worth up to £1,200 towards the first year tuition fees. Successful students get the notification for their offer letter, with the award being made at the university’s discretion.

Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship

This scholarship is worth £3,800 towards the tuition fees of a Postgraduate or MBA programme and will be awarded based on academic merit. Plus, 20% is minus from your tuition fees.

International Achievement Scholarship (current students only)

This scholarship is for Undergraduate students and is worth £2,000 toward your next year’s tuition fees. This is for student who display academic excellence, with an average mark of no less than 70%. In order to be eligible you must have no outstanding tuition or accommodation fees. The Assessment Board confirms the university.

Deadline for Undergraduate Courses after 12th

The normal closing date to receive applications for full-time undergraduate courses is 15th January for September intake. If possible, try to ensure that your application reaches the university by this date. The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) send all applications it receives after 15 January (until 30 June). But Edge Hill University UK can’t guarantee they will give the same level of consideration or offer as those that arrive by 15 January.
