Entry Requirements to Study at De Montfort University (DMU), UK
General entry requirements (exact requirements may vary from course to course)
Postgraduate Courses: At least 50-60% in Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. IELTS: Overall 6.0-6.5 depending on the courses you wish to apply (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)
Undergraduate Courses (after 12th): Completion of All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) or Indian School Certificate (CISCE) with an average of 65%. IELTS: Overall 6.0 – 7.5 (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score) depending on the courses you wish to apply.
MBA/Executive MBA program: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Having work experience is good but not mandatory. IELTS: 6 with no less than 5.5 in each component (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

Scholarships and Funding for Indian/International students

DMU International Scholarship
A limited number of DMU International Scholarships are available on a first-come, first served basis upon receipt of a £3,000 tuition fee deposit. Amount of £1,500.
Vice Chancellor’s Sports Scholarship
Available to talented students from the UK, EU and international wishing to develop their performance in sports. You could become a DMU champion for sport and perform in the British Universities and College Sport (BUCS) and Varsity competitions; while also gaining a recognised degree qualification across a wide range of courses and disciplines*. Three different scholarship packages are available with eligible students being awarded up to £6000 of support.
Early Deposit Discount
Early payment discounts are available upon receipt of a £3,000 tuition fee deposit. Amount of £500.

Deadline for Undergraduate Courses after 12th
The normal closing date to receive applications for full-time undergraduate courses is 15th January for September intake. If possible, try to ensure that your application reaches the university by this date. The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service also known as UCAS send all applications it receives after 15 January (until 30 June) but the university can’t guarantee they will give the same level of consideration or offer as those that arrive by 15 January.
