General entry requirements (exact requirements may vary from course to course)
Postgraduate Courses: Bachelors Degree with 3 or 4 years of education from a recognized institute. IELTS: 6.5 with no less than 6 in each component (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)
Undergraduate Courses (after 12th): Completion of All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) or Indian School Certificate (CISCE) or Higher Secondary Certificate (State Board) with an average of 80%. IELTS: 6.5 with no less than 6 in each component (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)
MBA/Executive MBA program: Bachelors Degree with 3 or 4 years of education from a recognized institute. IELTS: 6.5 with no less than 6 in each component (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

Scholarships for Indian/International students
The Gen Foundation – The Gen Foundation is a charitable trust which principally provides grants to students/researchers in natural sciences, in particular food sciences/technology to students/researchers in natural sciences, in particular food sciences/technology.
Chevening scholarships – Chevening scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations.
Commonwealth Shared Scholarship – Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme is a joint initiative between the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and UK universities, including the University of Birmingham, to jointly support scholarships for students from developing commonwealth countries who would not otherwise be able to study in the United Kingdom.
Applications Deadline to study at the University of Birmingham
Deadline for Undergraduate Courses after 12th
The normal closing date to receive applications for full-time undergraduate courses is 15th January for September intake. If possible, try to ensure that your application reaches the university by this date. The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service also known as UCAS send all applications it receives after 15 January (until 30 June) but the university can’t guarantee they will give the same level of consideration or offer as those that arrive by 15 January.
